We have 6 cozy seasonal cottages and a great lodge available for rent all year long. All of our cottages will sleep between 4 and 6 people and our Lodge can sleep upwards of 15 people! Have your next family reunion here, and rent out all of Birchwood!
Our families have felt the unexplainable draw of the Adirondacks, and we have built family ties to the Park. When you’re at Birchwood, we want you and your family to experience the draw of the wild like we have!
Spring
Plan an exciting adventure White Water Rafting on the mighty Hudson River! Area ponds, rivers and streams abound, boasting some of the most exciting trout fishing in the Northeast! Be called out to nature to enjoy the renewing as Winter snow melts and sprouts Spring blossoms and wild flowers!
Summer
Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating and picnicking on beautiful Loon Lake or the many other Adirondack Lakes nearby. Visit Lake George’s famous attractions just a short 25 minute drive away. Spend time at neighboring fun spots including Frontier Town, Schroon Lake, Natural Stone Bridge and Caves, Scenic Gore Mountain – gondola rides, and Ausable Chasm! Horseback riding and golfing are also available nearby!
Fall
Enjoy magnificent Fall foliage and all nature’s vibrant splendor! Excellent small and big game hunting, fishing, and hiking on the area’s scenic trails. The World’s Largest Garage Sale in nearby Warrensburg is surely worth a visit!
Winter
The Adirondack Mountains blanketed in white shimmering snow is a magnificent sight! Winter here is one of the most breathtaking seasons and also one of the best times to be outdoors! Birchwood Cottages is a great destination for the BEST winter vacation you’ve ever had! With cross country and downhill skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and ice climbing, literally minutes from your doorstep, there is never a dull moment! Or, if you’d prefer to enjoy the beauty from inside – disconnect from the world and reconnect with family, The Lodge is a perfect spot to cozy up to the fire as the snow falls peacefully outside!
